We are delighted to welcome you at the first CAMentrepreneurs meeting in Cambridge in 2022. This meeting was hosted by Alena Gorb. The meeting will take place on 27th Jan 18.30-22.00 in Trinity Hall Lecture Theatre and Terrace Room, Trinity Ln, Cambridge CB2 1TJ. The event is restricted to max of 50 attendees. The agenda for the evening is as follows: 18.30 – 19.00: Soft start: registration & informal networking (Lecture Theatre) 19.00 – 20.00: Investor panel discussion and Q&A (Lecture Theatre) 2 20.00 – 20.30: Pitches from attending entrepreneurs & feedback (Lecture Theatre) 20.30 – 22.00: Drinks in Terrace Room & informal networking We have three speakers for the panel: Miao He, PhD, MBA: senior investment associate at Hadean Venture, a European life sciences fund with a particular focus on the Nordic region. Previously Miao was an Associate at Luminous Ventures, a UK-based venture capital firm focusing on healthcare and other innovative technologies. Miao has worked as a Bioinformatics Scientist at Illumina, where she developed new algorithms for precision oncology applications and collaborated with Genomics England on the 100,000 Genomes Project in the UK. Miao has also worked in early-stage venture investing in Israel and has carried out consulting work for Cancer Research UK and healthcare start-ups. Miao holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from London Business School. She has published 18 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals including Nature Genetics and PNAS. Peter Robinson: co-founder and managing partner of Primary Access & Research, a consultancy which provides specialist advice to investors, entrepreneurs and disruptors, with a particular focus on the healthcare, technology and political risk. Primary researches industry disruption and political risk. Recent advisory and fund-raising engagements include Arctech Innovation, Novai, Solgari, Curam, Bimble and Inari. Prior to establishing Primary, Peter co-founded Redburn, London's largest independent institutional stockbroker, and held senior roles in equity sales and management at Lehman, JPMorgan, and BoA. Peter is also an active private investor. Peter Cowley: Cambridge-based serial tech entrepreneur (12+), angel investor (75+), mentor, and non-executive director. Peter was named UK Business Angel of the Year 2014/15. He is the President Emeritus of European Business Angel Network, board member of Global Business Angel Network, and previously a chairman of Cambridge Angels. Peter founded and ran the Marshall of Cambridge, Martlet Corporate Angel division, led 30 investment deals, and have been a director on 40+ boards.

5. COVID-19 Guidelines
• Unless exempt, please wear face coverings whilst on college premises
until you are in the Lecture Theatre/Terrace room. This includes
moving between rooms, when accessing the toilets and when leaving
college at the end of the event
• NHS QR code displayed in each function room, so please check in to
help trace and stop the spread of Covid
• Social distancing is not required but the spare chairs were left out in
case some people choose to socially distance
• There are hand sanitising units throughout college for use by all
