• The Key Performance Indicators of a survey
done revealed that Cambrian was ranked
among the top three colleges in Ontario, with
an overall graduate satisfaction rating of 85
percent. An impressive 94 percent of
Cambrian
graduates said that they would recommend
the College and 93.3 percent of employers
who hired Cambrian graduates reported that
they were “very satisfied or satisfied” with
their hires.

Our graduate employment rate of 87 percent is
above the provincial average of 83 percent. That
means that we’re offering the right program mix
and relevant curriculum, and that our graduates
have the knowledge, personal skills and
professional experience necessary to find jobs
after they graduate.

6. Course Commencement
• We have 2 intakes…September and January.
• September is the main intake
• The September intake begins in the first 2
weeks of September and the January intake in
the first 2 weeks of January.
7. Fees and Living expenses
• The approximate fee for a 1 year program is
CAD 15,000. This includes health insurance.
• For exact fees a student could visit the course
website page which can be easily seen as given
below:

• While the hostel expenses is about $6000 a
year, excluding food, accommodation can be
easily found outside the college at CAD 450 a
month.
8. Financial Aid Available
• Cambrian College provides over $50,000 in
Bursaries each year, through its International
Students awards program.
• Students are also eligible to apply for $
100,000 in Bursaries available through
Cambrian’s Student Award Program that is
open to all students.
• Students can also work part time on or off
campus… for 20 hrs a week at $12 an hr.
•Students can work upto 40 hrs a week during
their summer and winter breaks.

• If you are already a diploma or a degree
holder,
you may be able to fast track through the
Cambrian program.
• FAST TRACK THROUGH AN ADVANCED
DIPLOMA PROGRAM:
1. Advance diploma for Civil Engineering
graduates in program -> Civil Engineering
Technology.
2. Advance diploma for Physiotherapy
graduates in program –> Physical Fitness
management.

• Cambrian has over 180 agreements with
Universities in Canada, United States and
Australia, that allow graduates to complete
University programs in 1 or 2 years on
average.
• University agreements are in place for most of
Cambrian’s 3 year Advanced Diploma
Programs & 2 year Diploma Programs.

13. Average class size & mix of
students
• Cambrian College offers a class size in line with
equipments available for practical
work….approximately 25-35 students per class.
• Our International students come from China,
Nigeria, South Korea, Jamaica, India & other
countries.
• At present, we will have approx. 100
International students, out of a total size of
4,500 full time students & 10,000 part time
students.

15. Eligibility criteria for Indian
Students
• 60% in the qualifying subject for the program.
IELTS score of 6.5 not less that 6 in any
bands.
• IELTS is the only qualification norm for English
language proficiency that is accepted for
studies in Canada.
16. Steps to apply
• You will need to apply 3-6 months prior to
your start date of your program.

• Step 1: Prepare your application.
• Step 2: Submit your application to your agent
with notarized copies of transcripts, diplomas
and passport and IELTS date or IELES sheet.
• Step 3: Cambrian receives and processes
application. An offer of admission is sent out
to the agent You may get a condition offer if
you have not completed you IELES while
applying or an unconditional offer if the
student has completed his degree and IELES
as per the qualification norms.

• Step 4: Accept your offer of admission and
pay college fee.
• Step 5: Pay GIC amount as per the Canadian
government requirements…currently at
$10,000 that is to be deposited in a notified
bank.
