The bearded dragon is a large lizard with many scales and spikes, a long tail, and a ferocious appearance. It lives in trees, rocks, bushes, and glass cages and eats insects, vegetables, mice, and worms. Bearded dragons have a lifespan of 5-8 years and females lay 20 eggs every 55-75 days. They contribute to the environment by hunting bugs but are threatened by habitat loss and hunting. Efforts should be made to protect their trees and stop hunting them.
