• Transition from non-profit to for-profit status.

– Initial investment by investor group.

• Acquisition of VSchoolz Inc.
– In October 2013.
– Key VSchoolz assets include digital curriculum and an excellent Learning
Management System.

• Expanded executive management team.
– New President, Chief Academic Officer and Chief Financial Officer.

• A rigorous academic program aligned with the Calvert K-8 program.
– The Calvert Curriculum.

• Full array of courses – Core, AP, foreign language, electives
• A primarily digital program with some supplementary analog content.
– Printed learning guides.

• Content delivered to students via a rich, interactive LMS.
– Video, audio and collaborative content.

• Live teacher instructional support available for all subject areas.

– Calvert Classic – Access to online
content and printed learning guides.
– Calvert Plus – Classic with live
instruction in select courses and an
ala carte menu of services.
– Calvert Academy – Full school
program with a live teacher in every
course.

– Not a remedial program.
– Guidance/college counseling.

• Full course catalog
– Core academic offerings.
– Broad selection of electives.
– Multiple non-English languages.

• Diploma granting program

• The Flex-Pace schedule
– A defined set of live instructional
sessions delivered weekly through
the school year.
