1. Working at Sofitel Boao, April 11th (Internship Jan. – May 2010)
The Annual Conference 2010, Boao Forum For Asia (BFA) was held at Sofitel Boao in April 2010. BFA is a non-profit organization that hosts
high-level forums for leaders from government, business and academia in Asia and other continents to share their vision on the most
pressing issues in this dynamic region and the world at large (Wikipedia). During the conference, our front desk agent did room
arrangement, check-in, room keys issue, and check-out works, etc. We also assisted other departments to offer excellent services to all of
the delegates. Therefore, the Sofitel Boao successfully held the 9th Annual Conference of Boao Forum for Asia.
Once I got the front desk, my manager told me that you had to contribute all your time, energy and attitude to your work if you really
wanted to work in a hotel. After the internship, I understood what he said. In order to offer excellent services, we have to offer service
before customer’s requirements. Therefore, we have to think from customers points’ of view.

2. Graduated from Chengdu University
of Technology (CDUT), June 11th, 2010
I graduated from Tourism and Hospitality Management Program, which was
a Sino-Australia cooperative Program, at CDUT in June 2010. The picture
above is the graduation photo of my section. There were 30 students in my
section. All of our professors are our friends, we studied together, and we
had a lot of fun.
In the college, I started to live by myself. I learned self-management and
time-management, and communication skills; besides, I also built my own
network.

3. Working at The Ritz-Carlton, Sanya, July 2011
My first job was working at The Ritz-Carlton, Sanya as a front desk agent. I had a hard time when I worked there. It is a gorgeous hotel,
which requests highest level of services. During that time, I made some mistakes, and I learned from my mistakes and others. People
works there with high pressure, which is the motivation for people to improve themselves.
I am very appreciated my managers and supervisors who taught me how to be person which strong sense of accountability. We were not
only responsible for ourselves, but also took care our guests. Our motto is “ We are ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen.”
We tried our best to offer the best service to satisfy our customers.

4. ACCE Appreciation Dinner
for 2012 Diversity Business
Forum Volunteers, June 14th
Chines Association of Students at
Centennial College (CASCC) volunteered for
2012 ACCE (Association of Chinese
Canadian Entrepreneurs) Diversity
Business Forum on June 2nd. We were
responsible for preparation and reception
works in the forum.
ACCE invited CASCC to their Appreciation
Dinner, and issued the certificate for us.
During the dinner, I learned how to start
networking in business field in Canada. Our
also appreciated ACCE to offer us the
opportunity to gain Canadian experiences.

5. 2012 CASCC Ratification at CCSAI Full Board Meeting, Oct. 24th
As one club under Centennial College Students Association Incorporated (CCSAI), CASCC has to keep renewing 3 years
to become a permanent club. I attended the CCSAI Full Board Meeting for 2012 CASCC ratification at Centennial
College Student Centre. In the meeting, I learned how people do formal meeting in Canada. It was a valuable
experience for us to improve our regular meeting of CASCC.
