We want to build something much more culturally important than
just a music store. We aspire to have artists and listeners think of
Busker as an innovative force driving the next generation of music.

Great music is everywhere – from sold out arenas to bedroom
recording studios. We will sell every kind right next to each other,
and treat them as all equally important.

Discovering a new band is a beautiful thing. We want to make it
happen more often by giving artists tools to reach people.
Case Study: Radiohead
In Rainbows, released in October
2007, was sold direct-to-
consumer as a digital download
on Radiohead’swebsite.

Customers were allowed to name
their own price, including zero.

In Rainbows generated more
revenue in pre-sales alone than
its predecessor, Hail to the Thief,
had since 2003.

Selling direct to fans is great if
