This document discusses different forms of business organization. It describes sole proprietorship, joint Hindu family business, partnership firm, cooperative organization, joint stock company, and one person company. Sole proprietorship is owned and run by one person, with no legal distinction between the owner and business. A joint Hindu family business is managed by members of a Hindu undivided family under the head of the family. A partnership firm is formed by agreement between two or more individuals to carry on business as co-owners, sharing profits and losses. A cooperative organization is a voluntary association of at least ten members in the same locality joining together for economic or business interests. A joint stock company comprises two or more persons organized to conduct business for
