8. OBSERVATIONS MADE
• I have made the observation that horror films tend to
be in an isolated setting such as underground or in the
purges case with no one there to help with themes of
no hope of being saved
• The types of characters are usually vulnerable such as
in I know what you did last summer it’s a group of
teenagers.
• There is also usually some sort of paranormal activity
going on or there is a killer who has a weapon.
• This is to make the audience believe that there is no
way that the victims in the film are going to come out
alive.
