- For those of you who are learning about bulb for the first time today, I would like to play a short 1 minute overview video.
- bulb offers you unlimited iCloud storage, unlimited groups, unlimited collections and unlimited, pages.
- AND one of the things that districts and users love most about bulb is that bulb is for life. We believe that your work should always be your own and available to you not matter where you teach or learn. In other words, no matter what type of device you are using OR if you are moving districts, grade level, or graduating – your wrok will always be available in this beautiful format and go with you. Users never lose their work year-to-year or after they graduate. This allows users to continue to grow their bulb whether they are at a new school district, a college, a trade school or in a career. Your bulb content is never deleted or left behind.
- Let me show you some great examples of how bulb is used. Kaden Jones – is a soon to be 2nd grader. Bulb is designed to be able to grow with the students…a true K-12 and beyond digital portfolio. - Derrell Walker is a High school student – notice how he has his subject areas as collections….another way that we are seeing a lot of our districts organize is by “6 key skills of a successful graduate” and then tracking mastery of these skills at each grade level….also notice how Derrell has included his band and college… SHOW – Career Expoloration…. 11th grade SS….1960’s….discuss the embeds of multiple media types…each page, collection has a unique url which allows users to set visibility rights on every page or collection they create.
