2. Site Orientation & Safety Training
• 🔹 Briefed on company rules and daily work
schedule
• 🔹 Safety gear issued: Helmet, reflective
jackets, gloves, shoes
• 🔹 Toolbox meetings every morning to discuss
tasks and safety precautions
• 🔹 Learned about hazard zones and emergency
procedures
• 🔹 Importance of PPE (Personal Protective
Equipment) explained

3. Soil Excavation and Layout Work
• 🔹 Excavation for isolated footing using JCBs
and manual tools
• 🔹 Understood types of soil and their impact on
foundation design
• 🔹 Layout marking done using measuring tapes,
lime powder, and threads
• 🔹 Site level checked using Dumpy Level and
Spirit Level
• 📸 Insert a photo of excavation work or layout

4. Footing Types & Site Levels
• 🔹 Introduction to types of footings (Isolated,
Combined, Strip)
• 🔹 Studied reinforcement bar placement for
footings
• 🔹 Observed importance of leveling and slope
management
• 🔹 Reinforcement drawing compared with
actual site work
