The document appears to be a summary of survey responses from residents of a community called "The Meadows" about preferences for landscaping. It includes sample responses to questions about desired changes to common area landscaping, whether respondents are owners or renters, preferences for weed control methods, desired lawn appearance, and opinions on adding more benches. Respondents expressed preferences for more flowering plants, better trimming of shrubs and ivy, reducing lawn height, using pesticide-free weed control, and adding more native plants and trees.

More flowering shrubs/bushes would be nice, like hydrangea, lilacs, hibiscus, peonies.
The extracting of ivy looks great but it would be nice to fill in the space with hostas or
some other leafy flowering plants.
I am adamant about keeping the ivy around the buildings. I keep mine trimmed, away
from building & fence. I will volunteer for free to keep ALL trimmed around buildings &
fences in Meadows. The green is aesthetically pleasing & better than dirt. Also, green is
good for our environment.
In the spring, start mowing the grass sooner and more frequently so it doesn't get so tall.
When it is tall, bag the grass so that the mowers don't leave clumps or thick grass on the
lawn. Also, use smaller mowers to cut small or irregular shaped sections of lawn.

The clover and dandelions have completely overrun the grass. It looks terrible. We need
more grass. Overgrown shrubs are unsightly and ruin curb appeal. The shrubs should not
be higher than the lower window casing. It is a security concern. And, the shrubs
should not be within 8 inches of the building because it creates an issue with bugs and
access to window wells for cleaning.
More shade trees.
Replace some old/dead shrubs with something a bit more variant.
The trees and shrubs are out of control and so overgrown shrubs are to the height of
upstairs windows.

More trees, more shrubs, more variety of trees such as natives/Carolina
Silverbells/mimosas, more groundcover instead of mulch (ie pachysandra, vinca). I really
appreciate that we are not using toxins on the grass and that we can now see butterflies
and bees. This is good especially as there are so many children and dogs that play in the
grass.
More NATIVE plants please! Less liriope, nandina, and tall (pampas) grasses (that provide
shelter for rat burrows). Shrubs don't need more frequent trimming but they need to be
trimmed correctly the first time. For example, the holly in front of my house is out of
control again. In late winter/very early spring, it needs to be radically pruned!
Have the ground sloped away from our house.

We do not have flowers. I’d like to see more hydrangeas.
I only want a weed control that is safe for Pets, regardless of the cost.
It’s so beautiful to see the clover, the butterflies and the bees back. Cheaper for us and
way better for the children, pets, wildlife, environment and our health!
No chemicals on the grassy areas. The clover is lovely and helps maintain the natural
ecosystem and encourages pollinators.
WEEDS WERE BEYOND HORRIBLE. USE CHEMICALS.
We should reassess after each season the make sure this is the right path.
