So I know we’re all going through a lot right now. This whole distancing thing is really starting to wear on us and that’ll never be truer than during this holiday season. That’s why I invented these. Stay 6’ away from your friends and family while doing all the activities just like you used to. It’s almost like they’re not even there!
The build all starts by planing down a bunch of basswood lumber that was reclaimed from a friend of mine. I chose basswood specifically for this project because of it's light weight and also because the grain is very even and straight, which makes it easier to carve. Each of these boards gets planed down and then sanded with the drum sander to exactly an inch thick.

Put the teapot in the middle of the reception table. With a pencil and ruler, measure the bamboo
placemats to fit the drawer fronts over. Should you own a tiny jig saw you can knock this measure
out rather fast.
Most garlands sold in stores are boring and bland. This adorable glitter star garland project is
perfect for decorating railings, mantles, and more this holiday season.
If you will want to make an opening tailgate for your truck then you should be able to handle it
rather easily. All you will have to do is to take a sharp bladed hobby knife and carefully detach your
tail gate from the rest of the truck bed. Try not to remove too much material when you do this. You
will have to consider exactly how you wish to reattach the tailgate once you have it cut loose. You
may have to use a paper clip to make a small joint for the tailgate to pivot on. You will just have to
straighten it out and snip part off. You can then run this part through the tailgate and into the sides
of the bed.
Making a stencil. You can buy a ready-made stencil or you can make your own for those more
personal designs that are just not mass-produced. A transparent acetate sheet is the best material to
use. Lay it over a pattern for tracing, then cut out the design, leaving "bridges" so part of the design
doesn't fall out of the stencil. The best tool for cutting the stencil is a craft knife with a sharp blade.
A continuous pattern requires a registration mark to align the stencil. Use an element in the design
or draw a line on the stencil.
X is for X-Acto Knife. Before there were paper trimmers, there were X-Acto knives! These handy
craft knives are inexpensive, come with replaceable blades, and are wicked sharp (sometime Google
the term "X-Acto accident" to see exactly HOW sharp!
Spray the pie tin circle with a thick coat of Krylon Indoor Outdoor Primer in All-Purpose White, on
both sides. Wait thirty minutes before adding a second coat. Allow the tin to dry for an hour.
Once a piece of clay has been fired it needs to be finished. Stainless steel brushes can be used to cut
and shave fired art clay. Curved surfaces can be finished using a sponge sanding pad because of the
flexibility of the material.
This stuff keeps the beads from rolling around, so you can quickly test your ideas. It also can
demand a great deal of ability. Such a box is frequently known as a range box.
