Intro to Robotics, represented in understanding the basic mechanics, electronics, programming to build a robot arm to perform what ever function we need.
7. Sensors and Transducers
Electrical and Electronic systems need to sense and react
with the real world either by:
● Reading (sensing) an input quantity, or:
● Activating (actuating) some form of output devices.
● Reading (ensing) an input quantity, or:
● Activatinctuating)some form of output devices.
9. Pulse Width Modulation, or PWM, is
a technique for getting analog results
with digital means. Digital control is
used to create a square wave, a
signal switched between on and off
15. Forward Kinematics will enable us to determine where the
robot’s hand will be if all joint variables are known.
Inverse Kinematics will enable us to calculate what each joint
variable must be if we desire the hand to be located at a
particular point and have a particular orientation.
