This document presents a case of bronchiolitis in a 1.2 year old female child. The child presented with fast breathing and abnormal abdominal movement while breathing. A history of hospitalization for similar symptoms 4 months ago is noted. On examination, the child had increased respiratory rate and crepitations in both lungs. Laboratory investigations revealed increased white blood cell count. The child was diagnosed with bronchiolitis and treated with IV fluids, antibiotics, bronchodilators and mucolytics. The respiratory rate decreased over the next few days and the child was discharged after symptoms resolved.
