Our Team
The Key Members of the Team are:
I. Mr. Praveen Kumar Sinha (Founder)
Mr Praveen Kumar Sinha is an HR professional with a rich experience
of more than 3 decades as an HR generalist.
Mr. Sinha served a vast part of his career with Steel Authority of India
Limited where he joined as a Management Trainee in 1983 and rose
through the ranks to become an Assistant General Manager of Bokaro
Steel Plant in 2001. Mr. Sinha, during his career with SAIL acquired
comprehensive and strategic understanding of HRM, with a realist
outlook while seeking solutions. Hiving off the Captive Power Plant of
Bokaro Steel to the Bokaro Power Supplly Company Ltd(a JV of
SAIL&DVC) has been his showcase achievement.
Expertise in planning, implementing and managing Human Resource policies and procedures,
employee relations and mapping organizational development and training needs to support
business interventions has been his forte.
In 2005, Mr. Sinha availed the option of voluntary retirement scheme from SAIL and joined JSW
Steel. Since 2005 to 2015, Mr. Sinha has been with some of the biggest private companies in
India including the Tata Group, the Sriram Group and was till most recently, an advisor HR/IR to
Caparo Group.
Mr. Sinha has a well oiled network of professionals in India due to his long association with
SAIL and a decade of experience in the private sector. His vast experience is such that very few
can parallel in this field in HR. He has lived through the HR commencing and developing in the
Indian industry and has also been a part of the grassroots to enrich his experience.
Mr. Sinha is deft at people management and a keen planner with the flair for implementing
innovative strategies and HR Interventions for accelerated growth of the organization, Mr Sinha
has hands on experience in instituting change-management practices including organizational
restructuring initiatives and facilitating their acceptance by the employees across hierarchical
levels. Has the credit of introducing the concept of Management’s Charter of Expectations from
Union for win win settlements. Mr. Sinha is an effective communicator and Corporate trainer in
leadership, team building and soft skills and has been regularly taking sessions at MTI, SAIL at
Ranchi; at the HRD centres of Alloy Steels Plant and Durgapur Steel Plant at Durgapur; JSW
Steel at Bellary and Caparo India at its various locations. Mr Sinha widely uses visual media
particularly feature films to explain the concepts and contexts.
Pursuing the hobby of quizzing he has participated in National level Business quizzes and has
conducted a number of quizzes as quizmaster . Having traversed the long journey in this
profession, Mr Sinha has started HRstics as his venture to add value to the clients’ HR and other
business needs.
II. Dr. Hariharan (Senior Advisor)
Dr Hari Haran is the domain expert in Learning and Development and he has
agreed to help us in piloting the entire training and research related
deliverables in consultative capacity. He has retired from SAIL,MTI at Ranchi
as GM and senior Faculty in OB,QA and HR. MTI ,SAIL is the First Management
College of any PSU and is considered to be one of the most coveted places of
management learning for practicing managers.
By education ,a Mechanical Engineer from IIT-BHU, Dr Hari Haran had
joined SAIL as Management Trainee in its Central Marketing Organisation at
Kolkata in 1979. After working with the marketing set up of SAIL for around a
couple of years, Dr Hari Haran joined SAIL,MTI at Ranchi and superannuated from there. He earned
his PhD from the deemed university of BIT,Mesra.
His long and sustained association with MTI, has imparted him expert level knowledge in the fields
of General Management/OB/Strategic Mgt/Faculty Development/ Corporate entrepreneurship
/Marketing Mgt/CRM/Research & Consultancy. Dr Hari Haran apart from attending training in
marquee business schools of India and abroad like IIM(Calcutta) and XLRI as well as Robert Blake
Institute of Scientific Methods Inc.,COD,Hyderabad and BHP-Kinhill JV ,Austrailia has also
authored /co authored/edited five management books on

Our Team The Key Members of the Team are: I. Mr. Praveen Kumar Sinha (Founder) Mr Praveen Kumar Sinha is an HR professional with a rich experience of more than 3 decades as an HR generalist. Mr. Sinha served a vast part of his career with Steel Authority of India Limited where he joined as a Management Trainee in 1983 and rose through the ranks to become an Assistant General Manager of Bokaro Steel Plant in 2001. Mr. Sinha, during his career with SAIL acquired comprehensive and strategic understanding of HRM, with a realist outlook while seeking solutions. Hiving off the Captive Power Plant of Bokaro Steel to the Bokaro Power Supplly Company Ltd(a JV of SAIL&DVC) has been his showcase achievement.

Expertise in planning, implementing and managing Human Resource policies and procedures, employee relations and mapping organizational development and training needs to support business interventions has been his forte. In 2005, Mr. Sinha availed the option of voluntary retirement scheme from SAIL and joined JSW Steel. Since 2005 to 2015, Mr. Sinha has been with some of the biggest private companies in India including the Tata Group, the Sriram Group and was till most recently, an advisor HR/IR to Caparo Group. Mr. Sinha has a well oiled network of professionals in India due to his long association with SAIL and a decade of experience in the private sector. His vast experience is such that very few can parallel in this field in HR. He has lived through the HR commencing and developing in the Indian industry and has also been a part of the grassroots to enrich his experience. Mr. Sinha is deft at people management and a keen planner with the flair for implementing innovative strategies and HR Interventions for accelerated growth of the organization, Mr Sinha has hands on experience in instituting change-management practices including organizational restructuring initiatives and facilitating their acceptance by the employees across hierarchical levels. Has the credit of introducing the concept of Management’s Charter of Expectations from Union for win win settlements. Mr. Sinha is an effective communicator and Corporate trainer in leadership, team building and soft skills and has been regularly taking sessions at MTI, SAIL at Ranchi; at the HRD centres of Alloy Steels Plant and Durgapur Steel Plant at Durgapur; JSW Steel at Bellary and Caparo India at its various locations. Mr Sinha widely uses visual media particularly feature films to explain the concepts and contexts. Pursuing the hobby of quizzing he has participated in National level Business quizzes and has conducted a number of quizzes as quizmaster . Having traversed the long journey in this profession, Mr Sinha has started HRstics as his venture to add value to the clients’ HR and other business needs. II. Dr. Hariharan (Senior Advisor) Dr Hari Haran is the domain expert in Learning and Development and he has agreed to help us in piloting the entire training and research related deliverables in consultative capacity. He has retired from SAIL,MTI at Ranchi as GM and senior Faculty in OB,QA and HR. MTI ,SAIL is the First Management College of any PSU and is considered to be one of the most coveted places of management learning for practicing managers. By education ,a Mechanical Engineer from IIT-BHU, Dr Hari Haran had joined SAIL as Management Trainee in its Central Marketing Organisation at Kolkata in 1979. After working with the marketing set up of SAIL for around a couple of years, Dr Hari Haran joined SAIL,MTI at Ranchi and superannuated from there. He earned his PhD from the deemed university of BIT,Mesra. His long and sustained association with MTI, has imparted him expert level knowledge in the fields of General Management/OB/Strategic Mgt/Faculty Development/ Corporate entrepreneurship /Marketing Mgt/CRM/Research & Consultancy.
