Brief Summary (Summer Bridge)<br />   In the course of Introduction to Biology that I took in the summer it helped me introduce myself in the university taking my first class about Biology of life. The courses schedule was 8:00 am to 11:00 am, the class and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, the biology laboratory. In addition to the tests that we had to take in class and in the laboratory, we had the responsibility to do different assignments. We started with an autobiography power point presentation in the laboratory in which you had approximately five minutes to introduce yourself in front of the professors and students. We had to write a proposal and present it to the public; also questions from the students were part of the professor evaluation. At the end, each laboratory group had to deliver a notebook with all the experiments, protocols and results that we did during the summer. The most fun activity that I enjoyed was the visit that we did to the secondary forest in the university, in which we learned about the purposes of the forest and the things that they provide it to different species, including to us. <br />
