1. Sanjeeva Sahgal, CEO
Sanjeeva Sahgal is a trained banker with 30 years of banking experience demonstrating leadership traits in diverse
verticals of banking such as Core Banking, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking and Retail banking in various
important capacities.
Joining as a Probationary officer in SBI, he initially worked as Credit Appraising officer for large ticket lending
followed by branch head position with a responsibility of turning around of chronically loss making rural branch at
Kanpur and transforming it with best audit rating, healthy assets and substantial profits. This was followed with a
posting at SBI Capital Markets Ltd in 1994, where he honed his skills for advisory on disinvestment, restructuring
of Government entities, management of IPO and Financial appraisals and Project Financing of Manufacturing
entities.
Moving to HDFC Bank in 1998 he initially headed three largest retail branches in NCR, worked on initial image building
exercise of the bank, and raised large liabilities to fund assets. On the core banking domain he undertook the major
streamlining of processes, systems and then introduced trade finance activities in the outlets. As a Cluster Head of the
given region between 2003 to 2006 he was responsible for bringing to the books of the banks some of the largest
relationships of the region viz; NOIDA Industrial Development Authority, Greater Noida Industrial Development
Authority, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, Exl services, Head Strong, free scale, BAG Films etc
and demonstrated and helped Public Sector organizations a comfort of banking with HDFC Bank. All these relationships
and many others continue to be amongst the most prestigious relationships for HDFC Bank and growing.
At Corporate banking, Sanjeeva Sahgal was mandated with a responsibility to interact with the senior management level
interaction with some of the largest organizations in NCR and all neighboring states for their corporate banking
requirements, generate asset and liability business and other ancillary services offered. This needed to study the
financial health of the organizations and picking the best for funding. He was in-charge for large ticket lending for real
estate, Infrastructure for Indian/MNCs of the region. He commands hands on exposure for pitching, designing,
implementing, growing and marketing wide range of banking products of liabilities as well as assets across all

(BSFI) and other domains and other banking related areas for core banking, corporate banking, Investment banking
and Retail banking verticals. He also provides training for banking and soft skills developments to various corporates.
The team of V&QI consist of some of the best names in the industry and aims at high standards in delivery of services.
Sanjeeva holds Masters in Business Administration from the Prestigious “Faculty of Management Studies” (FMS),
University of Delhi, a Bachelor and Masters in commerce from Chirst Church College, Kanpur and has done his
schooling from Ram Krishan Mission School at Kanpur, one of the most reputed schools in U.P. run by Ram Krishan
