BREAKING DAWN
    BY STEPHENIE MEYER
      REVIEWED BY MARIA
Breaking Dawn is the last
  novel of a vampire saga
  written by Stephenie
  Meyer. This saga is
  called Twilight and
  consists of four books.
  Every novel is an
  international bestseller.
  The book was published
  in 2008.
Besides, every novel has
  been turned into a film.
The film of this book is
  divided into two parts
  because the book is very
  long.
INTRODUCTION
Bella Swan and Edward Cullen are a peculiar couple
because, although Bella is a normal person, I mean a
human, Edward Cullen is a vampire. The saga is about
the romance between them. Obviously, a romance
between a human and a vampire has a lot of
complications... One of these complications is a wolf
called Jacob. Jacob, who hates Edward because their
families always had problems, also loves Bella. Due to
this, he doesn’t want Bella to turn into a vampire even
though she hopes so from the moment she meets
  Edward.
SUMMARY
This part of the story begins with the wedding of Bella and Edward. All their
friends came to this engagement, even Jacob. When the wedding is
coming to an end, he threatens to kill Edward because he knows that after
this moment finally Bella is going to turn into a vampire and this idea
disturbed him. With the purpose of celebrating their honeymoon, they
travel to an island called “Esme Island”, which belongs to Edward’s family.
During this time Edward keeps a promise which had made to Bella. This
promise is that he would try to make love to her without killing her. The
reason for this promise is that due to the fact that Edward is a vampire, he
is attracted by human blood and a moment like that would increase this
attraction. Despite not killing her, after that, Bella has many bruises all over
her body, so Edward decides not to make love to her again until the
moment in which Bella turns into a vampire and is as strong as him. Bella
continues trying to make love to him and eventually she achieves it. The
result is that she gets pregnant. Edward wants her to abort because the
baby is absorbing all her energy, but despite that, she refuses to do it.
They come back to Cullen’s house and stay there. Jacob goes to Cullen’s
home to see Bella, who is dying… The baby is killing her… Edward,
desperate, tells him to advise her to abort… Jacob accepts his request and
talks to her but Bella doesn’t want to abort. Jacob’s family and the pack of
wolves, even though they don’t know how dangerous the birth of this baby
would be, want to kill him although it means to kill Bella too. Jacob
disagrees with that, he organises his own pack and warns Cullen’s family
about what his last pack want to do with Bella and their baby.
Bella’s pregnancy lasts only a month, and when she is
about to give birth to their baby, she has a lot of
complications, then, Edward must turn her into a vampire
so that she doesn’t die. During the birth, Jacob is
present, and he imprints on their baby (it has to meet his
soul mate’s wish to protect it). The baby is a girl and her
  name is Renesmee.
One day, while Jacob, Bella and Renesmee are hunting, a
vampire meets them and thinking that Renesmee is a
vampire child she warns a group of vampires called
Vulturis, who prohibit to turn children into vampires
because they think that they are not mature enough and
also that this kind of children are dangerous, then, they
want to kill Renesmee. With the aim of protecting her,
Cullen’s family get all the vampires of the world to prove
that Renesmee is mature enough. They can prove it and
the Vulturis realize that they are wrong and finally they
go away and at last Edward, Bella and their child can live
  a happy life together.
PERSONAL OPINION
From my personal point of view, I
    consider “Breaking dawn” a
    marvellous book because,
even though the theme is very
    surrealistic, the writer has
managed to create a world of
    vampires and wolves in which
you think you are while you are
    reading the novel.
I recommend this book to
    anybody who likes romantic
    stories, it is very romantic.
