Dr Helen Czerski, BSc  PhD University of Cambridge, is a physicist, oceanographer and
broadcaster with a passion for science, sport, books, creativity and investigating the interesting
things in life. Billed as the “female face of science television”, she works at University College
London and is a science presenter for the BBC.
Andrew MacDougall, Senior Executive Consultant, MSLGROUP London. Prior to this he was
the Communications Director to the Prime Minister and lead spokesman for the Government of
Canada overseeing digital and social teams.
Dominic Payling, Managing Director of Planning  Insight, MSLGROUP London is our very
own master storyteller with 20 years in-house marketing, market research and agency planning
experience Dominic is focused on providing the ‘Big Idea’ solutions that clients demand today.

Helen Czerski is a physicist, oceanographer and broadcaster with a passion for science, sport, books,
creativity and investigating the interesting things in life. Billed as the “female face of science television”, she
works at University College London and is a science presenter for the BBC.
	Helen graduated from Cambridge University in 2001 with a first in Natural Sciences, and then was awarded
a PhD in experimental explosives physics at Cambridge in 2006. Helen writes a monthly column for BBC
Focus magazine called ‘Everyday Science’, and was shortlisted for ‘Columnist of the Year – Consumer
Media’ by the PPA (Professional Publishers Association) in the PPA Awards 2014.
	Dominic Payling is MSLGROUP London’s very own master storyteller; with 20 years in-house
marketing, market research and agency planning experience Dominic is focused on providing the ‘Big Idea’
solutions that clients demand today. In a world mediated by Google he helps client’s to optimise the stories
that they continue to control and helps them to influence and shape the increasing number that they don’t.
	He learnt his craft working for PG and specializing in reputation marketing for global clients such as Audi,
Budweiser, Coca-Cola, Disney, Nestle, Philips and Rolex. A keen advocate of the latest forms of insight
generation and behaviour change methodologies Dominic works with some of the leading practitioners of
behavioural science and economics, including the British Government’s Nudge unit.
	Andrew MacDougall is MSLGROUP London’s Senior Executive Consultant, with diverse experience in
media relations, crisis communications, reputation management, and digital and social media. Prior to
joining MSLGROUP, Andrew served as Director of Communications to Canadian Prime Minister Stephen
Harper. Andrew served as the chief government spokesperson and was a key component of the
government’s crisis response team.
	While in government, Andrew was also responsible for crafting the government’s overall brand and
message, as well as building the Government’s brand through its advertising programs. Andrew also led
global communications and branding efforts for the government, including on issues like financial
regulation and the development of the Canadian oil sands.

Dominic Payling is MSLGROUP London’s very own master storyteller; with 20 years in-house marketing, market research and agency planning experience Dominic is focused on providing the ‘Big Idea’ solutions that clients demand today. In a world mediated by Google he helps client’s to optimise the stories that they continue to control and helps them to influence and shape the increasing number that they don’t. He learnt his craft working for PG and specializing in reputation marketing for global clients such as Audi, Budweiser, Coca-Cola, Disney, Nestle, Philips and Rolex. A keen advocate of the latest forms of insight generation and behaviour change methodologies Dominic works with some of the leading practitioners of behavioural science and economics, including the British Government’s Nudge unit. Andrew MacDougall is MSLGROUP London’s Senior Executive Consultant, with diverse experience in media relations, crisis communications, reputation management, and digital and social media. Prior to joining MSLGROUP, Andrew served as Director of Communications to Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Andrew served as the chief government spokesperson and was a key component of the government’s crisis response team. While in government, Andrew was also responsible for crafting the government’s overall brand and message, as well as building the Government’s brand through its advertising programs.
