Facebook has launched PocketTVC, which allows brands to optimize their TV ads for mobile viewing. PocketTVC stands for Pocket Television Commercials. Mobile advertising has several advantages over TV, including better ROI, accessibility, and the ability to target the right audiences. A study showed that young adults in India spend over 2 hours per day on mobile, and people in Southeast Asia view over 90 minutes of mobile videos daily. An example campaign by McDonalds Malaysia that used PocketTVC reached 11.5 million Malaysians and drove sales 5 times higher than the baseline.
