small luncheons as well with all aspects involved including catering and audio/visualset-up,tear down and reset of rooms. I also
work on large conferences and corporate meetings, concerts,parties and special events both on and off-site at San Jose and Santa
Clara Convention Centers and Levi Stadium. Coordination of all details related to travel, expense reports, working with facilities,
catering, IT, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, HR, Legal, Finance and Contract negotiations.
ORGANIZATIONAL ABILITIES: I have proven project management experience working setting up large conferences, events and
working on projects in a fast paced environment using budgetary concerns,timelines and producing results. I have an excellent rapport
and customer service with distributors,Vars, Oems and other channel marketing and sales. Pro-active team player to solve problems
and work as a liaison with clients as needed with upcoming trade shows,calendaring and working out and fine tuning all details for all
projects as needed. I have an Interior Design background and a flair for setting up new spaces.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Outstanding computer skills with both apple and IBM compatible systems using all Apple software and
Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access and other software systems on both IBM and MAC. Type 65 wpm
without errors.
A FEW ACCOMPLISHMENTS: I suggested and was approved to run a large project for the entire team of over 500 people for an
off-site communications meeting in Monterey, CA I worked on an internal project at Cadence Design Systems and moved an entire
engineering department of 300 engineers and worked closely with a command center to coordinate the project. I have worked
effectively in start-ups and am flexible and adaptable to change. I ran and managed all office procedures with Novell, Inc. in the start-
up mode while it was growing by 500 percent! Took business to a success froma negative sales position to being a multi-million
dollar profit.
