Teachers Across Borders is a non-profit organization that runs week-long workshops for 150-200 Cambodian teachers across various subject areas and teaching methodologies, in conjunction with the Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport. The workshops are run by volunteer presenters who donate their time, skills, and money, and Cambodian teachers pay $30 to participate. The organization aims to help improve Cambodia's education system, which was largely destroyed during the Khmer Rouge regime from 1975-1979.
