 Our country is not an energy isolate - it stocks up on the world energy markets and leans on networks
very widely interconnected in the European stitch?
 The constraint of the climate change involves to operate immediately a complete change of trajectory
in particular in term of sobriety and energy efficiencies.
 A big attention must be gived in all the perspectives of massive storage of the energy and the
management of the demand.
 The competitiveness of the electricity price is an advantage of the French economy and must to stay
 The preservation of the competitiveness of the French energy sector will pass by innovative projects
which lean on research programs, of development and innovation associating public laboratories and
industrial groups and aiming at the world market.
 Positions are to be taken or maintain in numerous domains (storage of the electricity, the intelligent
management of the energy, the intelligent networks …)
 It is in these domains that the efforts of R&D in partnership public - private are and must be favored.
The technologies of the digital and the electronics are there and will be omnipresent.
From carbon paper to thermal transfer – a technology in which ARMOR is currently the world leader – to ASCA©
third-generation photovoltaic films, the objective remains the same: to keep in step with technological developments
by looking to the future, to energy transition and the protection of the planet.
ASCA© is the first 3rd generation ultra-thin photovoltaic film, mass produced by ARMOR for an infinity of new
industrial applications. Without rare or toxic components, ASCA© is produced by a low-carbon process. Designed
and manufactured in France, ASCA© is light, flexible, semi-transparent and custom-made.
ARMOR has developed strong partnership with leading centres for research and industry in the world among which
IMS, LCPO, CAMBRIOS, INES, FAU, AMCOR, CNRS, GETEX
The launching of a new range of corporate gifts incorporating ASCA© film is carried out simultaneously with the
industrial-scale production of photovoltaic film launched in late 2016. The Beautiful Light Factory is the ARMOR
group entity in charge of making solar energy available to everyone by promoting new uses via innovative
applications (Solar Bag PRO, Solar Set PRO, Solar Pocket PRO).
Large industrial applications are already under development in several fields such as urban furniture, architecture,
transport, low-light indoor applications, nomadic structures…
