The author mentions in the book that the future belongs to young people and that it is

• The novel begins with a day in the life of Manisha and she realizes how the world of
business cocoons her through out the day.
• Later a school picnic is arranged to Chikmagulur where the students acquire a first-
hand knowledge of a coffee- plantation, of how Siddhartha developed the business of

• The Last Word’, the final chapter of this slender volume sums up author's ideas.
