He was born in Lucca, Italy, the 19th of February, 1743.
He was a compositor and cellist from the 18th century.
He contribiuted to the chamber music development.
In 1769 the Infante Don Luis offered him a job at his palace.
During his last years, both his music and himself
were forgotten.
He died in Madrid, the 25th of August, 1805.

3. He gained interest for the chello at an early age. Afterwards,
he became a profesional cellist.
He wrote almost 500 compositions. (Chamber music, trios,
quartets, quintets, sextetos, symphonies…).
