Bob Dylan was born in 1941 in Duluth, Minnesota and began writing poems and teaching himself instruments like piano and guitar from a young age. He began performing folk songs in local cafes under the name "Bob Dillon" while attending university. At age 25, Dylan was in a fatal motorcycle accident that broke his neck but led him to reflect on religion and write songs about inner peace. In 1961, Dylan was signed to Columbia Records and went on to record over 128 albums, becoming renowned for songs like "Times are Changing," "Blowing in the Wind," and "Like a Rolling Stone."
