Token Based Packet Loss Control Mechanism for NetworksIJMER
This document summarizes a research paper that proposes a new congestion control mechanism using tokens. It begins with background on congestion control and modern IP networks. The proposed approach uses edge and core routers to write quality of service measures in packet headers as tokens. Tokers are interpreted by routers to gauge congestion, especially at edge routers. Based on tokens, edge routers can shape traffic from sources to reduce congestion. The mechanism aims to provide fairness while controlling packet loss. Key aspects discussed include stable token limit congestion control, core routers, edge routers, and how the approach compares to related work like CSFQ.
This document summarizes a research paper on the design of a ring-oscillator-based injection-locked frequency divider with improved locking range and low power consumption using the Vernier method. Key points:
1) The design presents a ring-oscillator frequency divider that uses single-phase injection rather than multi-phase injection to achieve a wide locking range in a simple way.
2) Simulation results show that the divide-by-3 design has a locking range of 1.9 GHz and consumes 0.25 mW of power, while the divide-by-5 design has a locking range of 1.4 GHz and consumes 0.93 mW of power, both at a 1V

Investigate the Route of Chaos Induced Instabilities in Power System NetworkIJMER
In this paper possible causes of various instability and chances of system break down in a
power system network are investigated based on theory of nonlinear dynamics applied to a Power system
network. Here a simple three bus power system model is used for the analysis. First the routes to chaotic
oscillation through various oscillatory modes are completely determined. Then it is shown that chaotic
oscillation eventually leads to system break-down characterized by collapse of system voltage and large
deviation in Generator rotor angle (angle divergence), also known as chaos induced instability. It has
been shown that chaos and chaos induced instability in Power system take place due to the variation in
system parameters and the inherent nonlinear nature of the power system network. The relation between
chaotic oscillation and various system instabilities are discussed here. Using the simple power system
model, here it is shown that how chaos leads to voltage collapse and angle divergence, taken place
simultaneously when the stability condition of the chaotic oscillation are broken. All nonlinear analysis
is implemented using MATLAB. It is indicated that there is a maximum lodability point after which the
system enters into instability modes. All these studies are helpful to understand the mechanism of various
instability modes and to find out effective anti-chaos strategies to prevent power system instability.

Impact and Dynamics of Centralization in Transportation Cost of Cement Bag’s ...IJMER
The goal of many research efforts cognate to supply chain management is to propose
mechanisms to reduce operational costs. Inventory holding and conveyance costs are regarded as the
most paramount operational costs in inventory management. Many researches in supply chain
management only consider the inventory cost as a criterion to decide replenishment policy. In the
replenishment process, in juxtaposition of the inventory cost, the conveyance cost is a major cost factor
which affects the shipment size. Thus in this research work the conveyance cost is additionally considered
to minimize the inventory cost.
Two models are studied: when the retailers make decisions independently i.e. Decentralized decision

Improvement of Surface Roughness of Nickel Alloy Specimen by Removing Recast ...IJMER
Abstract: In this investigation, experimental work and computational work are combined to obtain improvement in the surface roughness of nickel alloy specimen, the machining is carried out by means of CNC wire electric discharge machining (WEDM). Brass wire is used as the tool electrode and nickel alloy (Inconel600) is used as the work piece material. The machining parameters such as Pulse-On time (Ton), Pulse-Off time (Toff), Peak Current (Ip), and Bed speed are considered as input parameters for this project. Surface roughness and Recast layer are considered the output parameters. The experiments
with the pre-planned set of input parameters are designed based on Taguchi’s orthogonal array. The surface roughness is measured using stylus type roughness tester and the thickness of the Recast layer is measured using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The results obtained from the experiments are fed to the Minitab software and optimum input parameters for the desired output parameters are identified. The software uses the concept of analysis of variance (ANOVA) and indicates the nature of effect of input parameters on the output parameters and confirmation is done by validation
experiments. Once the recast layer thickness is obtained Chemical Etching and abrasive blasting is performed in order to remove the recast layer and again the surface roughness is measured by using stylus type roughness tester. Finally from the obtained results it was found that there was significant improvement in the Surface roughness of the nickel alloy material. In addition using regression analysis this work is stimulated by computational method and the results are obtained

MK-Prototypes: A Novel Algorithm for Clustering Mixed Type Data IJMER
Clustering mixed type data is one of the major research topics in the area of data mining. In
this paper, a new algorithm for clustering mixed type data is proposed where the concept of distribution
centroid is used to represent the prototype of categorical variables in a cluster which is then combined
with the mean to represent the prototype of clusters with mixed type variables. In the method, data is
observed from different views and the variables are grouped into different views. Those instances that
can be viewed differently from different viewpoints can be defined as multiview data. During clustering
process the differences among views are ignored in usual cases. Here, both views and variables weights
are computed simultaneously. The view weight is used to determine the closeness or density of view and
variable weight is used to identify the significance of each variable. With the intention of determining
the cluster of objects both these weights are used in the distance function. In the proposed method,
enhancement to the k-prototypes is done so that it automatically computes both view and variable
weights. The proposed algorithm MK-Prototypes algorithm is compared with two other clustering
algorithms.

Signal Processing Algorithm of Space Time Coded Waveforms for Coherent MIMO R...IJMER
ABSTRACT: Space-time coding (STC) has been shown to play a key role in the design of MIMO radars with closely
spaced antennas. Multiple-input–multiple-output (MIMO) radar is emerging technology for target detection, parameter
identification, and target classification due to diversity of waveform and perspective. First, it turns out that a joint waveform
optimization problem can be decoupled into a set of individual waveform design problems. Second, a number of mono-static
waveforms can be directly used in a MIMO radar system, which offers flexibility in waveform selection. We provide
conditions for the elimination of waveform cross correlation. However, the mutual interference among the waveforms may
lead to performance degradation in resolving spatially close returns. We consider the use of space–time coding (STC) to
mitigate the waveform cross-correlation effects in MIMO radar. In addition, we also extend the model to partial waveform
cross-correlation removal based on waveform set division. Numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of STC in MIMO
radar for waveform de-correlation. This paper introduces the signal processing issued for the coherent MIMO radar without
and with STC waveforms and also studied signal processing algorithms of coherent MIMO radar with STC waveforms for
improvement of target detection and recognition performance for real life scenario.

Web search engines help users find useful information on the WWW. However, when the same query is submitted by different users, typical search engines return the same result regardless of who submitted the query. Generally, each user has different information needs for his/her query. Therefore, the search results should be adapted to users with different information needs. So, there is need of
several approaches to adapting search results according to each user’s need for relevant information without any user effort. Such search systems that adapt to each user’s preferences can be achieved by constructing user profiles based on modified collaborative filtering with detailed analysis of user’s browsing history. There are three possible types of web search system which can provide personalized information: (1) systems using relevance feedback, (2) systems in which users register their interest, and (3) systems that recommend information based on user’s history. In first technique, users have to provide feedback on relevant or irrelevant judgments which is time consuming and the second one needs
registration of users with their static interests which need extra effort from user. So, the third technique is best in which users don’t have to give explicit rating; relevancy automatically tracked by user behavior with search results and history of data usage. It doesn’t require registration of interests; it captures changing interests of user dynamically by itself. The result section shows that user’s browsing history allows each user to perform more fine-grained search by capturing changes of each user’s
preferences without any user effort. Users need less time to find the relevant snippet in personalized
search results compared to original results.
