Instructions
Choose 1 of the following 3 blog post options. Please write a creative and original post that includes an
introduction, body, and conclusion. Since this is a blog post I will be asking you to use blog
format….please see the following:
• Include a title (title should reflect the blog post option you chose)
• Use at least one piece of media (picture, video, sound, etc…)
• No more than 250 words
This will be a graded blog post (25 points) so PLEASE give me some quality work here. Listed below your
options, pick well and don’t let me down!
Choose One of The Following Options:
• Texas legislation is currently in the middle of a textbook overhaul in schools. As we have talked
about before in class, the legislation is looking to change their textbooks so that they have a
more conservative view point. For this assignment, I want you to find an article that deals with
this topic and find out what exactly they are changing in their history books. Once you know
what is going on with the story, then write a blog post that supports your stance on whether
they are right or wrong for changing the textbooks.
• CAP conferences are coming up soon, which means that you have the opportunity to sign up for
the classes that interest you in your 9th grade year. While our school offers a wide variety of
classes to take, we can not cover every interest of every student. For this assignment I want you
to write about a class that you wish we had here at Woodland. Tell specific reasons that explain
why you would want to take that particular class. Basically, your job is to convince school
administrators why we need to have your suggested class as apart of our curriculum.
