This document provides instructions for a graded blog post assignment. Students must choose one of three blog post options to write about in 250 words or less. The options are to 1) write a report card grading the teacher's performance, 2) make an argument for a new club to add to the activity roster, or 3) share a favorite moment from the school year. The post must have a title, include at least one piece of media, and follow the blog post format outlined in the instructions. Word count is to be determined using Microsoft Word.

Instructions
Choose 1 of the following 3 blog post options. Please write a creative and original post that includes an
introduction, body, and conclusion. Since this is a blog post I will be asking you to use blog
format….please see the following:
• Include a title (title should reflect the blog post option you chose)
• Use at least one piece of media (picture, video, sound, etc…)
• No more than 250 words
This will be a graded blog post (25 points) so PLEASE give me some quality work here. Listed below your
options, pick well and don’t let me down!
Choose One of The Following Options:
• This option is all about reflection. We are now at the end of the year and your final report cards
are coming up in a little bit over a month. You receive a grade on the quality of work that you do
in class, but we as teachers do not receive a grade at all. This is your chance to grade me as a
teacher….in this blog post you will write a report card for this class grading my performance as a
teacher. In addition to a grade, I’m asking you to include activities that you have enjoyed or not
enjoyed this school year…..include things that you change and what you would keep the same.
• This Friday marks our last club meeting day. With this in mind I decided to get some input from
you guys about what club you would like to see added next year for club day. For this blog post,
you are going to attempt to persuade the teachers that organize club day to add the club that
you want to next years clubs. Make sure to support your argument with facts and avoid
statements like…”I think we should add this club because it would be cool”, let’s make some
intelligent conversation here.
• For this blog post you will tell me a story. For this assignment, you will reflect back on an event
from this school year that is your fondest moment from this school year. It is not limited to just
event that take place at school, it can include anything that has happened to you since we
started back in August.

• Copy and paste your test from your post into Microsoft Word
