INTRODUCTION
• Objective E-Attendance using Blockchain aims to create a transparent and tamper-proof
digital attendance system using blockchain technology. This system can be used in
educational institutions or workplaces to record attendance, store it on a decentralized
ledger, and provide secure access to authorized personnel.
LITERATURE SURVEY
• 1. ”Blockchain-Based Secure E-Attendance System for Educational Institutions” by V.N.
Ghatetal. The attendance system for educational institutions that is suggested in this paper
uses blockchain technology to improve security and dependability by doing away with the
requirement for a central authority.
• 2. ”A Blockchain-Based Approach for Secure and Transparent Attendance Management” by R.
Singh et al. This study describes a blockchain-based attendance management system that
guarantees the immutability, transparency, and security of attendance records.
PURPOSE
• The purpose of implementing E-Attendance using Blockchain is to enhance the reliability,
security, and transparency of attendance management systems. This technology can provide
an immutable record of attendance, reduce errors and fraud, and ensure that attendance
data is accurate and accessible to authorized parties in real-time.
SCOPE
• A wide number of applications in educational institutions, corporate offices, and other
organizations where attendance management is important are included in the scope of E-
Attendance using Blockchain. It can aid in automating attendance tracking, lessening
administrative burden, and offering helpful perceptions into attendance patterns for making
decisions.
EXISTING SYSTEM
• There are a number of downsides to the conventional method of attendance management
systems, including manual data entry, human error, and the possibility of fraud.
• These problems can lead to inaccurate attendance records, faulty salary payments, improper
resource management, and a decline in confidence between organizations and their staff
members or students. Traditional attendance management systems might often take a lot of
time and administrative resources to manage.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
• The proposed attendance tracking system using blockchain aims to provide a secure and
tamper-proof way of recording and managing attendance data.
• The system will use a basic blockchain algorithm and associate blocks using cryptographic
hashes to ensure the integrity of the attendance data.
• To ensure the security of the attendance data, the system will use a centralized Flask server
to store and manage the blockchain.
CONCLUSION
• In conclusion, the proposed attendance tracking system using blockchain provides an
innovative and secure solution for managing attendance data. By leveraging the power of
blockchain technology, the system ensures that attendance data is tamper-proof and
immutable, making it an ideal solution for educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and
