Blanka Rothschild was a Holocaust survivor who was affected by her experiences in a concentration camp during World War II. After the war, she faced the difficult task of rebuilding her life with little financial support and no surviving family members. Like many other Holocaust survivors, she eventually immigrated to the United States between 1945 and 1952 to start over.
