This paper discusses the significance of data backup systems for organizations of all sizes, highlighting the evolution and necessity of modern backup strategies in the face of increasing security risks. It proposes a novel 'black box backup system' (BBBS) modeled after aircraft black boxes, which offers real-time data protection and disaster recovery capabilities, specifically designed to handle various threats such as natural disasters and data breaches. The authors emphasize the need for organizations to adopt effective backup strategies tailored to their specific contexts and challenges, with an aim to enhance data security and recovery processes.
