This document defines and provides examples of different types of adjectives: - Adjectives describe nouns and pronouns or modify nouns and pronouns. There are three main kinds: quality, quantity, and number. - Adjectives of quality describe how something is, answering "how?" Examples include good, bad, honest. Adjectives of quantity denote inexact amounts, answering "how much?". Examples include some, few, many. Adjectives of number denote exact numbers, answering "how many?". Examples include five, seven, hundred. - Exercises are provided for students to identify and classify different adjectives in sentences based on their kind:

2. Definition : Adjective
• Adjective is a word which describes a Noun or
Pronoun.
OR
• Adjective is the word which is used to modify
a Noun or Pronoun.
• Examples: tall, short, green, blue, big, small,
some, many, five, ten, fat, thin, thick, etc.

• Define: Adjective of Quality –
Adjective of Quality describes a person, place,
animal or thing; it always answers the question
‘how?’ Examples: good, bad, honest, smart, etc.

Adjective of Quantity is used to denote an
inexact number of nouns; it always answers your
question ‘how much?’ Examples: some, few,
many, various, several, much, little, etc.
• Define: Adjective of Number –
Adjective of Number is used to denote exact
number of a noun; it always answers your
question ‘how many?’ Examples: first, second,
third, five, seven, hundred, etc.
