Mrs. Sokol's third grade class presented on various birds of Wisconsin, with each student researching and reporting on a different bird species, including the black-capped chickadee, whippoorwill, northern cardinal, cedar waxwing, mallard duck, turkeys, barn owls, wood duck, oriole, American goldfinch, hummingbird, robin, eastern bluebird, red-winged blackbird, mourning dove, indigo bunting, sparrow, red-headed woodpecker, hawks, ruby-throated hummingbird, and purple finch. The class encouraged the audience to see if any of the birds they learned about could be spotted in their gardens.
