Tripti Mishra, Educator & Placement Advisor, herself lives with Bipolar Disorder successfully. On WORLD BIPOLAR DAY, she spoke on 'Holding a Job with Bipolar Disorder' at BipolarIndia's Conference on March 30th, 2019, in Mumbai Her inspiring story of navigating through her career while at the same time pursuing higher education was proof that illness can be no barrier to one's aspirations.

Securing 10th Position
• Graduate aptitute test of Engineering (GATE) 92.8 Percentile highest in Regional Engineering College
• Joined M.Tech Computer Science .....Completed Two Semesters........Left AGAIN...
• Appeared in Indian Engineering Service Examination, NTPC,NHPC......Written Cleared.....

5. • My only Success was perhaps .....Failing Agin , Falling
Again, Failing and falling again and again and yet getting
Up........

Computer Science...... Lost this Job due to Mania

11. • Moved To Asia Pacific Institute as Lecturer.....and finally I
Joined my current College Delhi Institute of Advanced
Studies in 2001......which I count as start of my career ....

15. • In 2006 Massive Manic attack in College itself....Almost
scarified my Job but because of my husbamnd and
friends ....Dr. Barkha , Dr Malati and Dr. Pratiksha...

• I picked up my M.Tech in 2005 and completed in 2008
FOURTEEN YEARS AFTER I HAD LEFT IT.......Three
years .....5 days working and 2 days ...Studies...

• Recognition and Promotion
• Fear of falling Sick
• Aging Irritability
• Not enough time with Son
• Dedicate Wed, Tue to make slides for students.Rest
days studyfor M.Tech. You only have to PASS the
Exam and not TOP it
• Wait for a year then decide
• Regular Medicine,Exercise, Medidation Regime
• Exercise and Be active
• Give him ucondtional love, Dont push him into too
many things let him enjoy his life..even .Bed time
stories are sufficient

20. • I resigned from this job and joined as MICROSOFT
PATENT ANALYST.......TOTAL PERSOANLITY
MISMATCH ........I resigned from Microsoft team

21. • My college Hired Me back with Promotion to Reader and Placement Advisor
• Then I was askedto do PhD........with all my physical ( 3 major operations ) and continued
Bipolar ....
• I completed Phd on 25th March 2019 and also won Best Paper Award at National
Conference

22. • I was Not only Retained.......They did not lose their faith in
me

• To work for students as Placement Advisor
