This document provides an agenda and overview for a BIOL 381 class session on utilizing science databases. The session will include examining subject specific databases in small groups, learning about RefWorks and interlibrary loan, and finding specific journals. Databases to analyze include Scopus, Science Direct and PubMed. Features of the databases like advanced search, full text access, and citation tools will be discussed. Using the topic of cancer treatment for dogs, each small group will present their database findings. The document concludes with reminders about database limitation tools and information on creating RefWorks accounts.
