Pendleton, California for assignmentas a Radio Operator for Communications
Platoon, Headquarters Company, 1st
Battalion 5th

deployed for 7 months for combat operations in supportof Operation Iraqi
Freedomin Al Anbar Province, Ar Ramadi Iraq. During this combatdeployment he
was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal.
After his return, he was reassigned as a Radio Operator for Charlie
Company. In July 2006 he deployed for 6 months to Okinawa, Japan attached to

MarineExpeditionary Unit assigned to Battalion Landing Team 1/5 Charlie
Company as the Company Radio Operator. During this assignment, Eluett was
promoted to the rank of Corporal.

Battalion, 11th
Marines on Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California. In June
2007, Hedeployed for 10 months for combat operations in supportof Operation
IraqiFreedomin Al Anbar Province, Al Taqaddum Iraq. During this combat
deployment he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
In June 2008, SgtEluett received orders to Headquarters Company,
Headquarters and SupportBattalion, on Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton,
California. He was assigned to Base Telephone as the lead liaison & customer
servicerepresentative.
In March 2010, SgtEluett reported to Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San
Diego for Recruiters School. Following completion of Recruiters School, He was
assigned to the 6th
Marine Corps District, Recruiting Station Ft. Lauderdale,
Recruiting Sub-Station Margate, Florida in June 2010. In July 2012, Sgt Eluett was
awarded Canvassing “Recruiter of the Quarter” FY12, 3rd
Quarter. In November

In December 2012, SgtEluett was hand selected by the Recruiting Station
Commanding Officer to be the only Sergeant in the command to serve in a
Commander Billet as the Staff Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of Recruiting
Sub-Station Delray Beach, Florida.
After 18 months leading his peers as a SNCOIC, and a 48 month successful
tour on Recruiting duty, in June 2014 SgtEluett received orders to Bravo
Detachment, MWCS-38, on MCAS Miramar, California to serveas the Assistant
Radio Chief. In October 2014 he was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant.
In January 2015, SSgtEluett was sent TAD to serve on the 15th
Marine
Expeditionary Unit as the Aviation Combat Elements Communications Chief for
VMM-161 (Rein). In May 2015 the 15th
MEU deployed for 7 months in direct
supportof combat operations in the Middle East participating in Operation
InherentResolve.
