5. • From the comparison at different concentrations and
reaction temperatures the surface methodology was
successfully applied for transesterification of
methanol. The optimum set of process variables was
determined by maximizing the biodiesel, the
experimental range would be the molar ratio of
6.825:1 and temperature of 48ºC and concentration
of KOH equal to 0.679wt%.
