Small Libraries Doing Big Things was a conference held on February 28, 2012 that highlighted how small libraries are providing major services to their communities. The one-day event included sessions on topics like helping patrons access eBooks, developing partnerships, creating a culture of learning in the library, collaborations between school and public libraries, teaching technology skills to patrons, using cloud-based services, developing gaming collections, and closing with a keynote on overcoming challenges in American libraries. The conference showed that smaller libraries can accomplish significant goals through community focus and innovative programming.
