In this decade social media use has gained high level of usage. Organizations and institutions have shifted from the formal way of communication and connected social media as way of communication because its simplicity. However, with all the applicability of social media in the current generation it has emerged as a tool to destruction for many young people. MySpace Facebook and Twitter are among many social sites that people choose to keep their communication through. Children and young people are using low language, engage in sex, immoral behaviors. Therefore, although social media has its benefits of cross border and regional connectivity of individuals, its impact on young generation morality cannot be overlooked. Social media has caused deaths and social mistrusts among many individuals and businesses.
First, social media has been used in spread of movies, audios and pictures that have negative impact to the viewers and especially generation. Lack of censure of the information through the social medial channels allows for any kind of information to pass to different recipients. Young people are the majority of the modern technology participants. Such information may have unaccepted behaviors such as sexually oriented materials, hate speech especially in situation where racial profiling is common, and cyber harass due to the possibility of hiding the identity of the social media participants. Information is known for its ability to change mind set and especially for young people who have not yet developed principles and therefore the information available to such people will be the information they will use to establish their life principles. Therefore sexual, improper communication and violence will be the most common principles that young people affected by these vices will be in their future life. Therefore, the future generation will fancy such vices which have a negative impact to the society in large. For most young people differentiating fantasy from reality has been a great issue. They are exposed to violence in the media which in most cases is a fantasy instead of the reality. Therefore young people believe in the violence spread by the media and they practice such violent acts amongst themselves. They also try the sexual behaviors they witness in the media which in most cases is very risk for young generation. Effects of Social Media on Teenager's Behavior
· In recent decades, social media have become an inseparable part of lives of most of the teenagers. Spending the greater part of their days on various social networking Web sites, teens rarely have any idea of what a great effect they have on their health and general behavior.
· At the same time, the impact of social media on youths is strong nowadays not only because teens construct probably the most vulnerable social unit but also because they remain to be the most massive audience of social networking.
· The possibilities of social networks have not been fully explored but their influence on the formation of mind in teens, the reasons for their behavior, a system of values, lifestyle, the choice of the life goal and ways of its realization, is still dramatic.
· Unfortunately, social networks, in the most cases, idealize the things that do not really worth paying special attention and virtual life spoils real values in the still unformed minds of youth.
· Teenagers are forced to constantly compare themselves to other people and think less about their private living. As a result, the individuality is lost.
· With no doubts, social networking provides youth with benefits and improves education but its risks should not be ignored.
· Peer pressure and an difficulty in self-regulation make teenagers particularly vulnerable to such dangers as, for example, depression and cyber bullying (Ramasubbu). These threats, nowadays, are realistic enough. Internet addiction and image of what is happening on the screen significantly intensify the behavioral problems.
· The recent statistics show that one in seventeen teenagers was abused or threatened online ("Teen Chat Rooms Peer Pressure Statistics"). Similarly, the 2015 report of Statista on the teenage social media users in the United States who have experienced peer pressure on social media reveals that approximately 68% of users experienced drama among their friends on social media and that, in fact, significantly influenced their behavior. Besides, some of the respondents mentioned the deterioration of their general state "because of something they saw from other friends on social media" ("U.S. Teen Social Media Peer Pressure 2015").
· Modern teens are nearly glued to their devices which highly promotes isolation among them. The behavior might shift from the absence of the desire to communicate to the total closeness. According to the research published by the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin revealed that "exposure to substance use and sexual content is linked to initiation of those behaviors" ("The Influence Of Social Media On Adolescent Behavior"). 2010. A conference was held on that date involving members of the audit
firm and Biltrite management. Participants in the conference were Denise
Vaughan, partner in charge of the Biltrite engagement; Carolyn Volmar,
audit manager; Richard Derick, in-charge auditor; Trevor Lawton, Biltrite’s

The project is to implement the BUMP client in java, with window size 1. Here is an overview of the three WUMP protocols (BUMP, HUMP, and CHUMP). Here are the files wumppkt.java, containing the packet format classes, and wclient.java, which contains an outline of the actual program. Only the latter file should be modified; you should not have to make changes to wumppkt.java.
What you are to do is the following, by modifying and extending the wclient.java outline file:
· Implement the basic transfer
· Add all appropriate packet sanity checks: timeouts, host/port, size, opcode, and block number
· Generate output. The transferred file is to be written to System.out. A status message about every packet (listing size and block number) is to be written to System.err. Do not confuse these!
· Terminate after a packet of size less than 512 is received
· Implement an appropriate "dallying" strategy
· send an ERROR packet if it receives a packet from the wrong port. The appropriate ERRCODE in this case is EBADPORT.

recommended that you implement this in phases, as follows.
1. Latch on to the new port: save the port number from Data[1], and make sure all ACKs get sent to this port. This will mean that the transfer completes. You should also make sure the client stops when a packet with less than 512 bytes of data is received. Unless you properly record the source port for Data[1], you have no place to which to send ACK[1]!
2. For each data packet received, write the data to System.out. All status messages should go to System.err, so the two data streams are separate if stdout is redirected. To write to System.out, use System.out.write:
System.out.write(byte[] buf, int offset, int length);
For your program, offset will be 0, buf will typically be dpacket.data(), where dpacket is of type DATA (wumppkt.DATA). The length will be dpacket.size() - wumppkt.DHEADERSIZE (or, equivalently, dg.getLength() - wumppkt.DHEADERSIZE, where dg is a DatagramPacket object).
3. Add sanity checks, for (in order) host/port, packet size, opcode, and block number.
4. Handle timeouts, by retransmitting the most recently sent packet when the elapsed time exceeds a certain amount (4 seconds?). One way to do this is to keep a DatagramPacket variable LastSent, which can either be reqDG or ackDG, and just resend LastSent. Note that the response to an InterruptedIOException, a "true" timeout, will simply be to continue the loop again.
5. Add support for an dallying and error packets. After the client has received the file, dallying means to wait 2.0 - 3.0 timeout intervals (or more) to see if the final data packet is retransmitted. If it is, it means that the final ACK was lost. The dally period gives the client an opportunity to resend the final ACK. Error packets are to be sent to any sender of an apparent data packet that comes from the wrong port.

· In recent decades, social media have become an inseparable part of lives of most of the teenagers. Spending the greater part of their days on various social networking Web sites, teens rarely have any idea of what a great effect they have on their health and general behavior.
· At the same time, the impact of social media on youths is strong nowadays not only because teens construct probably the most vulnerable social unit but also because they remain to be the most massive audience of social networking.
· The possibilities of social networks have not been fully explored but their influence on the formation of mind in teens, the reasons for their behavior, a system of values, lifestyle, the choice of the life goal and ways of its realization, is still dramatic.
· Unfortunately, social networks, in the most cases, idealize the things that do not really worth paying special attention and virtual life spoils real values in the still unformed minds of youth.
· Teenagers are forced to constantly compare themselves to other people and think less about their private living. As a result, the individuality is lost.
· With no doubts, social networking provides youth with benefits and improves education but its risks should not be ignored.
· Peer pressure and an difficulty in self-regulation make teenagers particularly vulnerable to such dangers as, for example, depression and cyber bullying (Ramasubbu). These threats, nowadays, are realistic enough. Internet addiction and image of what is happening on the screen significantly intensify the behavioral problems.
· The recent statistics show that one in seventeen teenagers was abused or threatened online ("Teen Chat Rooms Peer Pressure Statistics"). Similarly, the 2015 report of Statista on the teenage social media users in the United States who have experienced peer pressure on social media reveals that approximately 68% of users experienced drama among their friends on social media and that, in fact, significantly influenced their behavior. Besides, some of the respondents mentioned the deterioration of their general state "because of something they saw from other friends on social media" ("U.S. Teen Social Media Peer Pressure 2015").
· Modern teens are nearly glued to their devices which highly promotes isolation among them. The behavior might shift from the absence of the desire to communicate to the total closeness. According to the research published by the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin revealed that "exposure to substance use and sexual content is linked to initiation of those behaviors" ("The Influence Of Social Media On Adolescent Behavior"). This aspect is explained by the fact that teenagers are not only the direct consumers of information but also produce what they see in many cases.

The project is to implement the BUMP client in java, with window size 1. Here is an overview of the three WUMP protocols (BUMP, HUMP, and CHUMP). Here are the files wumppkt.java, containing the packet format classes, and wclient.java, which contains an outline of the actual program. Only the latter file should be modified; you should not have to make changes to wumppkt.java.
What you are to do is the following, by modifying and extending the wclient.java outline file:
· Implement the basic transfer
· Add all appropriate packet sanity checks: timeouts, host/port, size, opcode, and block number
· Generate output. The transferred file is to be written to System.out. A status message about every packet (listing size and block number) is to be written to System.err. Do not confuse these!
· Terminate after a packet of size less than 512 is received
· Implement an appropriate "dallying" strategy
· send an ERROR packet if it receives a packet from the wrong port. The appropriate ERRCODE in this case is EBADPORT.

1. Latch on to the new port: save the port number from Data[1], and make sure all ACKs get sent to this port. This will mean that the transfer completes. 2. For each data packet received, write the data to System.out. All status messages should go to System.err, so the two data streams are separate if stdout is redirected. To write to System.out, use System.out.write:

For your program, offset will be 0, buf will typically be dpacket.data(), where dpacket is of type DATA (wumppkt.DATA). The length will be dpacket.size() - wumppkt.DHEADERSIZE (or, equivalently, dg.getLength() - wumppkt.DHEADERSIZE, where dg is a DatagramPacket object).
3. Add sanity checks, for (in order) host/port, packet size, opcode, and block number.
4. Handle timeouts, by retransmitting the most recently sent packet when the elapsed time exceeds a certain amount (4 seconds?). One way to do this is to keep a DatagramPacket variable LastSent, which can either be reqDG or ackDG, and just resend LastSent. Note that the response to an InterruptedIOException, a "true" timeout, will simply be to continue the loop again.
5. Add support for an dallying and error packets. After the client has received the file, dallying means to wait 2.0 - 3.0 timeout intervals (or more) to see if the final data packet is retransmitted. If it is, it means that the final ACK was lost. The dally period gives the client an opportunity to resend the final ACK. Error packets are to be sent to any sender of an apparent data packet that comes from the wrong port.

Mr. Kay Nguyen is working at Burgerville for over 2 years. He said that working at Burgerville is only temporary while attending school. The hour he works is outside of his school time, so it helps pay for tuition. The work is very busy during high traffic hours, especially at the drive-through during dinnertime. His main responsibility is handling cashier, but he often help others where needed. He starts pay at minimum wages.
His supervisor encourages employees from time to time, but the wage is very low for employee to stay. He explains that turnover at Burgerville is below average compare to other place he has worked before.

Bullying is mean spirited and unwanted intimidation by another student. Bullying can come in many different forms but the result is an imbalance of power where one student suffers physical and verbal attacks as well as social exclusion. The bully repeatedly focuses in on their victims and subjects them to continued harassment and false rumors. Bullying causes the victims extreme emotional damage and lifelong pain but occurs most commonly in the school setting. In order to ensure that bullying is prevented the educational system will need to become more proactive and create programs and services designed to educate, reduce, deter and punish bullying.
Types and Extent of Bullying
The three types of bullying experienced by the youthful victim in the school setting consist of verbal and physical assaults as well as social exclusions. The types of verbal threats the victims of bullying suffer are name calling, false gossip, lewd sexual comments, taunts, and threats to cause harm. Physical assaults include hitting, kicking, pushing, tripping, pinching, and spitting on the victim. Social exclusions includes the bully taking steps to isolate the victim from peers by leaving them out of social events or gatherings and talking rudely about them to other peers. Other students will fear the bully and go along with their mean spirited actions. The victim will be isolated and the bully will take steps to embarrass the student in front of other peers. The bully will spread malicious rumors and make rude comments to the victim.
Adolescents are extremely sensitive to rejection and the opinions of peers, both of which can serve as catalysts for revenge (Booth, 2011). The result is the bullying becomes escalated and the victim takes revenge on the bully or physical altercations occur. Bullying is a major problem in society. While bullying occurs most in the school setting there are other places where bullying occurs. Bullies target victims using social networks and will bully them at social events. Victims of bullies are harassed and attacked on school buses and on school playgrounds as well as in the victim’s neighborhood. While bullying can happen anywhere it is most prevalent in schools making it the responsibility of educational systems to take steps to see it stopped.
In 2001 in a report conducted by the Bureau of Juvenile Justice Statistics it was discovered that 20% of all students will be bullied while in high school while the number creeps up to almost 30% when dealing with school children from second to sixth grade (DeVoe, 2009). This comes to one in seven students from kindergarten to twelfth grade being victims of bullying. In this decade social media use has gained high level of usage.
Organizations and institutions have shifted from the formal way
of communication and connected social media as way of
communication because its simplicity. However, with all the
applicability of social media in the current generation it has
emerged as a tool to destruction for many young people.
MySpace Facebook and Twitter are among many social sites
that people choose to keep their communication through.
Children and young people are using low language, engage in
sex, immoral behaviors. Therefore, although social media has
its benefits of cross border and regional connectivity of
individuals, its impact on young generation morality cannot be
overlooked. Social media has caused deaths and social mistrusts
among many individuals and businesses.
First, social media has been used in spread of movies, audios
and pictures that have negative impact to the viewers and
4. especially generation. Lack of censure of the information
through the social medial channels allows for any kind of
information to pass to different recipients. Young people are the
majority of the modern technology participants. Such
information may have unaccepted behaviors such as sexually
oriented materials, hate speech especially in situation where
racial profiling is common, and cyber harass due to the
possibility of hiding the identity of the social media
participants. Information is known for its ability to change mind
set and especially for young people who have not yet developed
principles and therefore the information available to such
people will be the information they will use to establish their
life principles. Therefore sexual, improper communication and
violence will be the most common principles that young people
affected by these vices will be in their future life. Therefore,
the future generation will fancy such vices which have a
negative impact to the society in large. For most young people
differentiating fantasy from reality has been a great issue. They
are exposed to violence in the media which in most cases is a
fantasy instead of the reality. Therefore young people believe in
the violence spread by the media and they practice such violent
acts amongst themselves. They also try the sexual behaviors
they witness in the media which in most cases is very risk for
young generation. Abortions due to unwanted pregnancies due
to uncontrolled sexual behaviors as depicted by the media are
become normal with the current generation (Clark, 43).
Secondly, people and especially young people may not be aware
of the privacy and confidentiality their personal data might be.
Implication of sharing such information on social media of
daring since most of social media sites do not have security
policies. Therefore most young people might disclose
confidential on the social sites causing distress after their
identity and is exposed on the wrong way. One way that has
been on the rise is sharing of personal pictures for people in
compromising situations. Leaking of such information may
greatly affect the social life of people due to traumatization as
5. information on some situations in their lives they would not
love exposed gets exposed. Sharing of information and
especially intimate information has resulted to a lot of family
breakups. Organizations using social media to promote
businesses may be greatly affected in case confidential
information relating to their organizations leak to the social
media as it takes a very short time to spread such information to
large populations. For instance, health information is
confidential and exposure of health information regarding a
person in social may result to stigmatization. Young people are
the majority of the prey of privacy issues in social media as
they do not understand such issues in depth. Therefore social
media rise in the current generation has compromised the
privacy and confidentiality of personal data contained in most
human rights issues in most countries (Clemmit, 4).
Thirdly, social media has affected interpersonal communication.
Young people have opted to specialize in communication social
media while face to face communication is being phased out at
an alarming rate. Simplicity of communication and the ability to
connect with people and friends at far distances using the social
media channels has eased the need to travel and visit friends
and relatives as they are in constant communication through
social media. Face to face communication has its etiquette and
courtesy necessary for good relations and therefore lack of
interpersonal interaction due emergence of social media has
impacted the etiquette and resulted to poor personal relations
(Lyons, 5). In the current generation, even young people find
their partners through the internet. The beauty of dating is
fading with the current preferring to exchange all their love
affairs through the media rather than meeting for such sensitive
communication.
Most relationships have not worked because communication
through the media cannot expose the exact character of
individuals and therefore they realize that their characters are
not compatible upon marriage after meeting through the media.
Social media communication limits people from learning to
6. tolerate others as it is common with interpersonal
communication where people can learn how to solve problems
among them. Problem solving is an art that can only be attained
through interpersonal interaction and the modern generation
will missed it to social media obsession.
Personality of most people has been affected by social media.
Most young people and students spend most of their time in
social media sites and therefore affecting their study time as
well as the way they relate with their fellow students. Movies
and internet is part of the students and therefore the old way of
study is gone. Simplicity in their studies through the media has
affected their reading ability and therefore and books in schools
and reading culture the former generation has change. Their
lives are surrounded by the people they interact with through
the media and especially celebrities most of whom their
personalities are questionable. They adore such people and
follow up their activities and behaviors in their social media
settings. They built their personality surrounding such celebrity
individuals and therefore their potentials are limited to the
achievement of their role models. In most cases, young people
personality collide with the expectation the community has on
them as most of their personality is borrowed and may not suit
their cultural values expected to shape their personalities.
Research shows that student who spend most of their time in
media perform poorly as compared to those that do not fancy
media. Poor performance in school affects self-esteem level of
the students and therefore it may results to depression and other
social disorders such as withdrawal (Moore, 10). In addition,
the number of people following an individual may be used by
most young people to mean how influential or accepted they are
among their peers. Less following therefore may affect the
confidence of such individuals which in turn affect how they
value themselves.
Fourth, social media has resulted to death of innocent young
people in many parts of the world. Due no naivety of most
young people, they have indulged in relationships with unknown
7. people. The relationships grow and they even plan to meet with
online friends at specified places. One mechanism the people
use is impersonation. They have different profiles in the social
sites different from their own personal life. They use attractive
profiles which lure people to them. Upon meeting with
personally, research shows that most people place demands on
their friend which if not met results to commission and
sometimes deaths. Most young girls have found themselves in
the hands of rapists and murders in disguise of lovers, hence
terminating their lives in uncertain conditions (SPENCER, 1).
Exposure of sexual relations with unknown people has been on
the rise as people are supposed to give money as ransom to
avoid being exposed. These cases have resulted as people can
communicate and interact with unknown people through the
social media channels where they get promises for property if
they comply with their requests.
Conclusion
In conclusion, although social media is an important tool that
people can use to connect as well as convey messages to their
peers in distant places, it can be a dangerous tool for
destruction to the young generation. Violence, sexual behaviors,
improper languages, lack of interpersonal communication
ability, lack of problem solving capacity, deaths, lack of
privacy and lack of personal development are some of the major
impacts media can have to the youths in the current generation.
They are vices that affects humanity and therefore impact on the
life-long behavior of the affected individuals.

You will need to find 5 sources: 3 must be peer-reviewed,
scholarly sources. The others can be additional scholarly
sources, popular journal articles (from a publication like US
News and World Report or Psychology Today; not People or
Hot Cars), documentary films, websites (good quality ones!),
longer newspaper articles from major newspapers (like Seattle
Times or Wall Street Journal, not the local Spokane paper), or
even an interview. You could also use information found
through CQ Researcher or SAGE Knowledge for these last 3.
After you find and read your sources, you will write an
annotated bibliography—an assignment that asks you to
9. summarize and analyze your sources and indicate how you will
or might use them in your researched argument essay.
Annotated Bibliography: worth 100 Points for the final draft
(and 25 for the peer review draft)
For each source, give a complete and accurate MLA citation, a
one or more paragraph (4-7 sentences) summary of the major
points, a one-paragraph brief analysis of the article (including
larger issues the author is concerned with and/or any aspect of
the rhetorical situation), and an indication of how you will or
may use the source in your paper. In addition, consider adding a
sentence about a specific point the article makes that you want
to remember for your paper and/or a quote you may use. Here’s
an example (a complete student example appears on Canvas):
Van Zant, Joshua. “Homeless in Hawaii.” The Atlantic.com.
Atlantic Monthly Group, Sept. 2007. Web. 15 May 2008. My
focus is not Hawaii, but this web article is still useful because it
discusses high school students. Van Zant discusses how schools
in Hawaii partner with local social service organizations (such
as Boys and Girls Club, after school Parks and Recreation
programs, and food and clothing banks) to make sure the basic
needs of students are met. He summarizes the contribution each
of these groups makes to two local high schools and three
vocational schools. In particular, he talks about a district-wide
clothing bank for kids and teens.
As he says, clothes are important to kids’ identities, and a
new/hip outfit can help students feel like they fit in. This author
has actually worked as a school psychologist, and since his
writing is targeted to a general audience rather than a scholarly
audience, his points are very clear and easy to understand. His
purpose is to point out solutions to the problem of homeless
high school kids feeling inferior or self-conscious about their
clothes. He wrote this article for a special issue in The Atlantic
about poverty and children. I will use this article to help explain
that schools need to look to the community for help. It will also
give me some concrete evidence of programs that schools can
implement (such as a clothing bank).

entries are worth a potential 20 points (5 for correct MLA
