The document provides biblical instructions for godly conduct in family and society. It outlines duties for parents to encourage, discipline, and nurture their children. It instructs children to obey and honor their parents. For married couples, it describes mutual love, submission, and duties for husbands to lead and for wives to submit. It gives guidance for treating fellow Christians, servants, masters, authorities, and the world in general with love, honor, honesty and witnessing to Christ. The overall message is that biblical principles should guide relationships and conduct within the family, community, and broader society.
Jesus healed ten lepers, but only one was thankful (Lk. 17:11-19). The majority were not thankful, including His own people. There is much we take for granted and for which we are ungrateful.
Let us be grateful for the blessing given by God. We depend on Him for our existence (Acts 17:28). He gives us every good thing (Jas. 1:17). Above all, He provides salvation (1 Jn. 5:11).
We can learn lessons from the account of the lepers: obedience brings blessings, Christ has the ability to cleanse, few show gratitude for God’s blessings.
1 Thess. 5:16 commands that we should "Rejoice Evermore." Being joyous is directly related to how we perceive the circumstances surrounding us. No matter what happens - good or bad - we must see everything as the will of God and continue to give Him thanks always. This is the secret of being joyous.

Continuing in our exploration through the Gospel of Luke, this chapter is a great introduction to the season of Lent. During this season, we will ask, because God pursues what is lost, what response is demanded of us?

How to rock this holiday season. Maybe it's better to hang out with a lonely person than fight for a nativity scene on the court house lawn. Oh, and let's don't scold people for saying, "Happy Holidays."
After a few slides about the coming revival and a praying for the salvation of Muslims, this message clarifies some of the main reasons why loved ones do not feel loved by us despite our efforts to love them.
Repentance is necessary for our salvation, but what does it mean? The Parable of the Prodigal Son provides a beautiful picture of repentance demonstrating the necessity of honesty, humility and action.

The people of God have always need watchmen (Eze. 33:1-9). To warn the people (Isa. 58:1).
The watchmen is righteous if he warns and unrighteous if he does not warn.
The church of Christ has watchmen appointed by God (Eph. 4:11-16). Elders: shepherds, pastors, bishops, overseers—all the same office—are watchmen. Preachers: evangelists, ministers—all the same function—are watchmen. In general, all Christians are to act as watchmen in one way or another. They are here to keep the church strong in truth (Eph. 4:12-16).
This lesson will examine the duties of elders and preachers as watchmen.
A presentation done on the importance of clinging on to the church. The presentation is composed of simple footprints with a blue shade on a plain white background as to give emphasize that it is a journey that is to be made and not a single sprint of life that we are to excel in.
Blue was chosen because it brings indicates peace and calmness, the emotions we are to feel when we are serious in our service and our attachment to the local church.

Would Paul be shocked if he walked in MOST church buildings today? There are false teachers who pervert the Gospel just like there were false teachers in the first Century -

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
The Book of Joshua is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…
