 One of the top most women entrepreneur’s in India.
 Meena bindra was born in in Delhi. Meena ‘s father was
a business person. When he passed away he left lots of
property. Her father died when meena was 9 years old.
 She had married with an Indian navy officer at the age
of 19. at the time she had completed her BA.
 She was a mother of 2 children.
 Her passion was in designing clothes.

sell it informally.
 As she got eight thousand rupees. She first hired a tailor
and buy some fabric.
 When some one introduced her with block printer called
devesh. He was a young boy who is passionate toward a
work & own a factory.
 Meena & devesh used to experiment & design the
clothes in factory.

After getting offer from devesh, Meena started to think further.
She used to sell her design clothes in reasonable price.
 With her first sale she made a profit of 3000Rs.
 With this profit she brought more fabric’s. The business she
was doing is not strict business, it was a easy going
atmosphere.
 Meena friendly nature always used to win the hearts of
customers.
 She never considered her customer as a customer, treated
them as her friends.
One step further:
 Meena‘s fabric was mostly liked by women &
popularity of her fabric made her work famous. The
popularity was rasing & Meena was decided for giving a
brand name. she named her brand name “BIBA”.
 Time has come where the retailer has to keep large
order. They were ordering 100 fabric’s with different
designs.

 He elder son sanjay, he was interested in helping her mom in
business but meena insisted him to involve in her business & asked
him to complete MBA.
 After completing MBA, he have joined in BIBA. He was handling
labors, order & accounts.
 Meena acknowledge her elder as an asset. The business turn over is
8-10 crore.
 Every month they have sold more than 2000 fabrics. This became a
huge expansion.
 The turning point of biba is when her younger son joined. At that
time the turn over is more than 25 crore. He made clear vision to
own their outlets. They made a profit for 12 lakh per month.
