Bhamashah was a noted general and minister who provided crucial financial support to Maharana Pratap after his defeat at the Battle of Haldighati. Bhamashah, who was born in 1547 to an influential Oswal Jain family, donated 20 million gold and 250 million silver coins to help Maharana Pratap rebuild his army. He was appointed as the prime minister and helped Maharana Pratap recover much of his lost territory. Bhamashah died in 1600 and is honored in Rajasthan for his legacy of financially supporting Maharana Pratap during his time of need.
