There is no one definition of culture nor there is unanimity among various thinkers. Mr. A.L. Korelaber and T. Parsons in an article on the Concepts of Culture and of Social Systems American Sociological Review has defined culture as “a complex of values, ideas, attitudes, and other meaningful symbols created by a man to shape human behaviour and the anti facts of that behaviour as they are transmitted from one generation to the next”.
According to another author “culture refers to a set of values, ideas, anti facts, and other meaningful symbols that help individuals communicate, interpret, and evaluate as members of society”. Another writer feels that “culture is a set of socially acquired values that society accepts as a whole and transmits to its members through language, and symbols”. The culture may also be defined as “the largest simple grouping of people sharing a distinctly unique social heritage”.

India's Linguistic Tradition:Contemporary Relevance if Classical Texts.pptxsunilsondhi5
It is the argument of this article that the negative trends in communication stem from a complex web of social, political, and cultural factors that go beyond any individual, ideology or situation. To find a solution to this problem we need to look within and examine the disconnect between the roots of language in the Indian society and the use to which language is being put by people who are unaware of the India‘s linguistic tradition of Sabdanusanam- discipline of words. It is in this context that the classical texts on communication in India need to be explored and relevant ideas adopted for integrative and accommodative communication.

SUJAY Dynamics of language spread in multilingual societies FINAL FINAL FINAL...Sujay Rao Mandavilli
This document discusses language spread in ancient and modern India based on a study of languages throughout Indian history. It introduces concepts like the Theory of Win-Win Propositions and the Yoyo model of cultural diffusion. Regarding ancient India, it suggests the Indus Valley civilization was multilingual, with many Indo-Semitic languages. These later synthesized with Proto-Indo-European, forming Sanskrit and various Prakrit languages. It argues the Indus Valley likely had no single lingua franca due to its linguistic diversity and lack of overarching political authority.

The objective of this paper is to formalize and document observations on language spread in multi-lingual or polyglot societies as understood from a study of spoken and written language in various phases in Indian history starting from the Indus Valley Civilization of Ancient India, the mature phase of which began in 2600 BC, to modern Post-independent India, and formalize them into principles wherever possible, so that these can be used as a basis to make further observations and draw further inferences from studies both in India and elsewhere, the ultimate goal being to prepare a dictionary of the universal principles of language spread in multi-lingual or polyglot societies, and the general principles of language spread for ready use anywhere in the world. Such an exercise can be carried out by collating the basic observations and principles as understood from this paper with observations culled from similar studies that have already been carried or may be carried out both in India and elsewhere in the world. Such a compendium would be a valuable heuristic tool for analysis and can be an indispensable tool for use by politicians, educationalists and others across the world for decision-making and policy-formulation, and as a part of the emerging discipline of Applied Linguistics. It will also be useful to the common man to help him understand the various seemingly mysterious forces that greatly impact his daily life. We also introduce several new concepts in this paper, such as the Theory of Win-Win Propositions, the Doctrine of Insubordination, the Theory of Linguistic Osmosis, Context and Role-based suitability, Context and Role-based indispensability, Yoyo model of cultural diffusion etc. Thus, this paper delineates much of the theoretical framework that can be used for a formal study of the spread of languages in any multi-lingual society.

LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like
Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems

1. What is Samskrutam and its Importance?
Samskrutam is the original name of the Sanskrit language. Sanskrit is a classical
language belonging to the Indo-Aryan branch of the Indo-European languages. Sanskrit, one
of the ancient languages, is now considered as a gateway to understand sacred ancient
texts, hymns, dramas, etc. This languages usage and to make modern individuals understand
and gather information from ancient Shaashtras.
History of Sanskrit
Sanskrit is the sacred language of Hinduism, the language of classical Hindu philosophy, and
of historical texts of Buddhism and Jainism. Sanskrit generally connotes several Old Indo-
Aryan language varieties. The most archaic of these is the Vedic Sanskrit found in
the Rigveda, a collection of 1,028 hymns composed between 1500 BCE and 1200 BCE by
Indo-Aryan tribes migrating east from what are today Afghanistan across
northern Pakistan and into northwestern India. Sanskrit language has been with us for over
10,000 years. It has been our spoken language for thousands of years. This tells us how
important is Sanskrit to our values and how important it is for us to keep Sanskrit as one of
our main-stream language.
Importance of Sanskrit
Sanskrit is the core of our Bhaaratiya (Indian) culture and knowledge. It has played the
major role in everything we have today as our knowledge, culture, and values. All our major
works like Vedas, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Shrimad Bhagvad Gita, etc., are composed and
written in Sanskrit. It is doubtless and well accepted that all these teachings are unparalleled
with any other teaching in the world and will remain so. Without the knowledge of Sanskrit,
as a language, we will not be able to truly appreciate and understand the literature we have.
Best University for Samskrutam: International Hindu University
Our goal is to promote awareness of the relevance of the ancient wisdom teachings as
applied to present day experiences across cultures. Our students learn about peaceful co-
existence and mutual respect through the lens of Sanatana Dharma in a mainstream
promotion of pluralism. The education and training offered resonates and reflects and with
Dharmic principles and is relevant and made useful to all students. Our vision includes the
promotion of ideas and practices that will benefit Humanity and promote mutual respect
and pluralism. While the scope of work for the University is all the curriculum areas of arts,
science and technology, the University will develop a niche-expertise with primary focus in
Vedic knowledge/practices and secondary focus in other India based knowledge systems
that are part of Dharmic traditions. The reason for developing this niche is to promote
world harmony and peace by resurfacing forgotten/ignored knowledge systems that can
contribute to sustaining global populations of all religions, sects, creeds, races, etc.
