International business provides the majority of Bermuda's foreign revenue and supports the majority of jobs through related services and infrastructure. Bermuda has more jobs than local workers, so relies on guest workers to sustain its economy. While tourism also contributes, the hotel industry has declined. To improve the economy, Bermuda must make its business environment more competitive by controlling costs and reforming immigration policies to attract and retain international talent and companies over the long term.
