The UB Psych Clinic is requesting permission from the Benguet Governor to conduct a one-day equipping seminar for select community health team members from Benguet municipalities from May to June 2015. The seminar aims to train community health teams on psychological first aid, indigenous mental health practices, medical first aid, and establishing community mental health programs. It will include lectures, workshops, and certificates provided by Syngenta as part of their corporate social responsibility. The clinic hopes this endeavor will help community health teams better serve their constituents.
