 Since the course is accessible at any time students can
review course material before they take the course, or
after the course has ended.

 Instructors have the ability to evaluate their courses
with those in OER and make sure their students are
getting the same education that is thought in their
community.
 Instructors have the ability to edit their course with little
cost from OER.

 Searching for the right course material can be time and
energy consuming for instructors.
 Making the material found in OER accessible can also be
costly
 Setting up the course can also be costly

 Not a lot of people know about OER so they maybe
hesitant to use them
 Cost Of Maintenance
 The funding that allows for OER is a one-time start-up
funding, and once the funding stops it may be costly
