Statement of Qualifications
I am a self-motivated scientist with a Ph.D. in Genetics and an interest in pursuing a career in clinical trial
management and regulatory affairs. I am experienced in carefully planning and designing projects as well as
training and managing undergraduates in all aspects of research project execution. I have written and
submitted detailed protocols and laboratory SOPs for the use of animals in research while serving as
Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee Coordinator and the lab’s Research Safety Officer. In addition, I
was responsible for managing annual laboratory inspection preparation activities prior to yearly IBC audits.
My excellent written and oral communication skills have enabled me to write synopses of recently published
papers for the Center for Infectious Disease Dynamics (CIDD) website, to write primary research papers, and
to serve as a Teaching Assistant and as a guest lecturer. I am a member of the Association of Clinical Research
Professionals (ACRP), have successfully completed an Introductory Course for GCP/ICH guidelines, and am
currently enrolled in a course covering Ethics of Clinical Trials.
