Belief Systems
What are belief systems?
 Believe is something that you feel right.
 Belief systems are organized ways to view the world
 Typically include a moral code, or way to live life
 Religions are belief systems with a god(s)
 Monotheistic- one god
 Polytheistic- more than one god
Religious Believe
Hinduism-
 Started in India
 Founded through cultural diffusion from the Aryans
Buddhism-
 Started in India, but moved to Southeast Asia
 Founded by Siddhartha Gautama
Confucianism-
 Started in China
 Founded by Confucius
 No god
Judaism-
 Started in the Middle East, practiced worldwide
 Founded by Abraham/Moses
• Each of these religions focuses on living in harmony with nature and nature
spirits (making them polytheistic)
Christianity-
 Started in Israel, currently practiced worldwide
 Founded by Jesus (the Messiah)
Islam-
 Started on the Arabian peninsula, currently practiced worldwide but
primarily in the Middle East
 Founded by Muhammad
Other Belief Systems
 Legalism
 China- based on the idea that humans are evil and harsh
punishments are needed to keep order in society
 Humanism
 Renaissance Europe- focus on humans/individuals and life
on earth instead of on God and Heaven
Effect of believe system
On Medicine
 Psycho-neuroimmuno system- it is known as placebo effect,
Doctor use false medicine to cure their patient from severe
diseases like cancer, kidney failure, heart diseases etc.
On life
 There are several examples of people who has nothing but
they change every thing just by believing on themselves
 ARUNIMA SINHA- An up girl who lost her legs by a train
accident but she climbed up all the seven peaks of the
world with her artificial legs
 Gandhi, Mandela, Lincoln , Hittler
Negative effects
Terrorists-
 Peoples believe that killing each other in the name of
jihad and thinking that they were right.
Punishing your self-
 Eastern India people walking on fire thinking that their
god is pleased by it
 Witch hunting in 18th century
 Giving human sacrifices for better yield
 Superstition
How to control believe
 Controlling believe is proportional to the mind control.
 Mind control is nothing but engaging your brain in a
positive way
 Making some one believe is called as motivation
 A good motivation from right people can lead you in
right way but a wrong motivation changed your life.
 Believe in your self is confidence, but over confidence
can destroy you.
Conclusion
 It can make you or it can break you.
 You can become strongly mental or you can come
mentally strong
 You can have endless hope or hopeless end.
 Man becomes challenge from mind not from his mind
