Pratik Patel describes his three attempts at becoming an entrepreneur. His first attempt was selling insurance at age 17 to support his family and sister's education. His second attempt was a SMS-based service providing movie reviews, jokes, and exam results that he started with Rs. 5000 of personal savings but had to close due to lack of funding. His third successful attempt was starting an advisory website to provide trading advice to clients for free, which eventually led him to take over another trading portal called Profitgyan in 2010 by applying his principles and technology to make every trader smarter.
